While there is a lot of good information on the Internet, there is also misleading information. When a customer says, he looked-up well or pump information on the Internet, I automatically wonder what type of Internet Guru or desk jockey wrote the information. Does he have experience in the field about what he is writing about? What area of the country or climate zone is he writing about? Local experience may over ride for instance, a Florida well or pump guru’s advice. I always want to learn about new products and procedures but I hesitate to experiment at the customer’s expense. I have always used a ‘wait and see’ approach for new products. Most of the new, state of the art products have a learning curve for the manufacturer and the installer. Many of the latest and greatest products are on the Net together with incredible sales pitches. Having seen countless new and improved products come and go I have waited more than ten years for some products to evolve before selling them. If you want the latest, we can get it for you, but we stock “The Old Reliable.” — David Nequette
