Welcome To The Annual Spring Mud Fest

In many parts of the country Spring is beautiful and enjoyable. High country spring time is at it’s best, but is most difficult, if not impossible for folks who work outside.  Customers call from the low country and ask how their project is coming along.  They never think about the weather at high altitude and think it’s just an excuse for not getting their project done.  These must be the same folks who move in and live here for a year or two before a “For Sale” sign goes up on their property.  Reality bites!  This year the frost went deeper than usual so the mud was worse.  Early snows melted into warm grounds giving the moisture needed for a deeper frost level.  Then cold weather with no snow cover did the rest. Many folks, whose waterlines had never frozen before, had trouble this year.  After the mud dries and before the snow flies in the Fall, fix the drainage and insulate those problem lines.  Call us for a cost effective “fix”  for that problem waterline.  Not everything has to be expensive. — David Nequette
